5 ideas for prepackaged meals and food budgeting

Meal planning and meal portion control are two important concepts to master in an effort to lose or control weight.

1) When you go to restaurants, order the lunch portion for dinner.
2) Eat a prepackaged meal every once in a while so that you can adjust your expectations of what normal portion looks like.
3) Find a packaged meal that you enjoy, and keep a few of them around for the times that you would normally reach for a bag of chips or cookies.
4) Soup is a quick snack. You can keep cans in your desk at work. They are quick to heat and eat.
5) Try to make sure your small meals contain fiber. It will make you feel full so you can eat less.
