Appliance ideas for a low cholesterol diet

The American Heart Association recommends eating no more than six ounces of cooked lean meat, poultry, fish or seafood a day for people who need 2,000 calories. Most meats have about the same amount of cholesterol, roughly 70 milligrams in each three-ounce cooked serving (about the size of a deck of cards). But the amount of saturated fat in meats can vary widely, depending on the cut and how it's prepared. Here are some ways to reduce the saturated fat in meat: Select lean cuts of meat with minimal visible fat. Lean beef cuts include the round, chuck, sirloin or loin. Lean pork cuts include the tenderloin or loin chop, while lean lamb cuts come from the leg, arm and loin. Buy "choice" or "select" grades rather than "prime." Select lean or extra lean ground beef. Trim all visible fat from meat before cooking. Broil rather than pan-fry meats such as hamburger, lamb chops, pork chops and steak.

Use a rack to drain off fat when broiling, roasting or baking. The Nu Wave oven pro cooks using these methods. By using racks, it releases up to 250% more fat drippings than a regular conventional oven. Plus no added fats or oils are required. Instead of basting with drippings, keep meat moist with wine, fruit juices or an acceptable oil-based marinade. Showtime Ronco Rotisserie Oven

Cook a day ahead of time. Stews, boiled meat, soup stock or other dishes in which fat cooks into the liquid can be refrigerated. Then the hardened fat can be removed from the top. Eat chicken and turkey rather than duck and goose, which are higher in fat. Remove the skin from chicken or turkey, preferably before cooking. If your poultry dries out too much, leave the skin on for cooking but remove before eating. Limit processed meats such as sausage, bologna, salami and hot dogs. Many processed meats — even those with "reduced fat" labels — are high in calories and saturated fat. They are often high in sodium as well. Eat more seafood.

Try meatless meals featuring vegetables or beans — think eggplant lasagna, a big grilled portobello mushroom on a bun in place of a burger, or beans-n-weenies without the weenies. Or think of meat as a condiment in casseroles, stews, soups and spaghetti — use it sparingly, just for flavor, rather than as a main ingredient. The cholesterol in eggs is all in the yolks --- without the yolk, egg whites are a heart-healthy source of protein. Many recipes calling for whole eggs come out just as good when you use egg whites or cholesterol-free egg substitute instead of whole eggs. Replace each whole egg with two egg whites. For baking, you may want to add a tablespoon or less of liquid vegetable oil such as canola, safflower, sunflower or soybean for a moister consistency. Increase fiber and whole grains. Use olive oil or grapeseed oil instead of butter to sautee your vegetables, or grill them halogen infrared oven,George Forman grill countertop

Reasons you may not be losing weight on the hcg diet

1. Evaluate the tablespoon of Milk you are drinking.

Consider changing to goat, almond, soy, or rice milk. Milk contains hormones to promote quick growth and weight gain of the calf to enable it to survive on it's own at the earliest. A baby calf triples in weight within the first year of life so cow's milk has a high content of fat and hormones like insulin promoting growth factor (IGF). Because of this milk has been used for centuries as an invalid food to promote appetite and weight gain. It is an easily digestible, high protein food for those people who do not have a milk allergy or are not lactose intolerant. As it promotes weight gain, it predisposes to obesity, hormonal problems like diabetes, arteriosclerosis, hypertension and paralytic strokes. People with any of these conditions should avoid taking milk and other dairy products.
Non dairy milk
You may want to make sure you don't have a casein allergy by getting tested or an elimination diet.

2. You have a gluten allergy

Gluten allergies are relatively common. 1 in 111 adults (0.9%) have a gluten allergy. When people with gastrointestinal complaints were studied, 1 in 30 adults (3.3%) were found to have a gluten allergy. This makes a gluten allergy quite common, especially when people with chronically uncomfortable guts are considered.

Using digestive enzymes can be effective in minimizing the impact of gluten for those with gluten intolerance or gut injury.

Also, avoid the melba toast and grissini on the diet. Or you can replace them with gluten free crackers.

3. You have an allergy to any of the foods on the diet.

Most of the foods on this diet do not commonly trigger allergies. But you could be exposing yourself to #1 and #2… and it would not be impossible that you are eating or seasoning your food with something that is counterproductive. People can be allergic to spices. Try salt only and see how that works, or have your practitioner check your sensitivity to some spices and only use the ones you do not react to.

Allergy to strawberries is one of the most common of all fruit and vegetable allergies. When a person is allergic to this fruit, it is likely they are reacting to the birch pollen allergen that apples and peaches bring on.

4. You did not do a colon cleanse.

When doing the HCG diet it is highly recommended to do a colon cleanse. The hcg diet gets rid of stored fat fast, and fat stores toxins as well. By cleaning your colon and getting rid of excess toxins, you greatly aid your hcg diet plan. If your colon and liver are not up to speed, You cannot expect them to optimally help you shed weight. This one can be used during the diet.

5. Your adrenal glands may be functioning suboptimally.

Check your DHEA level, if it is low, a supplement may make your weight loss more effective.
DHEA is an adrenal hormone that also aids in increasing metabolism and burning fat and reducing stress.

6. You are still craving food and are eating things that are not allowed.

7. You are using lotion or some cosmetic that is not allowed. Try our coconut oil infused with essential oils. www.sexibalm.com 832-237-4200

8. Through readjustment of the normal pH balance in the body,

People who change their diets to maintain pH balance will likely notice a welcome side effect: weight loss. A pH balance diet is so effective for weight loss that there are several well-known pH balance weight loss programs in existence.

Balancing your diet - Acid/Alkaline

When food is metabolised by the body the end products are either acidic or alkaline. Acids are compounds of elements, which give away hydrogen ions, alkalines are compounds of elements which attract hydrogen ions. The body needs both acids and alkalines for its metabolism but we have more difficulty getting rid of acids than alkalines. One of the simplest ways to immediately create more alkalinity in your body is to drink so-called superfood powdered drinks. Choose a brand that contains ingredients with high alkaline values such as spinach, broccoli, carrot, wheatgrass, barley grass, chlorella, alfalfa and sprouted grain powders. Many of these ingredients are contained in Green cell Therapy.
Milk thistle, lactobacillus, and digestive enzymes are in Vitagreen (formerly known as Green cell therapy).

Other ingredients:

Wheat Grass juice powder, barley grass juice powder, chlorella, CoQ10, Carrot Juice Powder, Beet Juice Powder, Parsley Leaf Powder, Kale Juice Powder, Grape seed exract, Milk Thistle seed extract, Lycopene, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Quercetin, Dandelion Powder, Spinach Powder, Blue Green Algae, Bee Pollen Powder, Aloe Vera Powder, Flax Seed Powder, Lecithin, Green Tea Extract, Astralagus Powder, Royal Jelly, Brown Rice Powder, Lipase, Lactase, Amyalse, Protease, Bifidobacerium Longum, Lactobacillus Casei, Lactobacillus Rhamnonsus, Lactobacillus Acidophilus

9. Yeast overload

Belly fat is more than just fat. Yeast causes abdominal bloating that can add an extra 5-7 inches that seems to appear out of nowhere. This can be devastating for someone who is on a diet and trying to lose weight and lose inches. If a woman says she has only been eating 1,000 calories a day for a week yet still gained weight a doctor tends to think she is not being truthful. However, if most of her diet is carbohydrates and sugar she may very well be growing yeast, which create a toxic build up and fluid retention to dilute the toxins. It’s a whole new way of looking at weight gain.

Besides bloating and toxic fluid build up, yeast can decrease thyroid function and lead to lowered metabolism, which is a well known cause of weight gain. Some yeast toxins can block hormone receptors and block hormone action.

10. You have a vitamin deficiency

I recommend that people load with Omega 3, Coenzyme Q10 and Vitamin D prior to the diet. Take as much as you can on the loading days.

For the Omega 3, take at least two 1000 mg tablets with each meal for the three loading days.
According to the Journal of Obesity, recent studies have shown that supplementation with Omega 3 fish oil increased the number of fat calories burned in a single day.

Co enzyme Q10 and weight loss goes hand in hand. This increases the metabolism rate in our body which burns up the food that we eat, faster. This enzyme is present more in the liver, pancreas and the heart than in the lungs. The presence of CoQ10, not only improves the metabolism rate in our body, but it also improves the immune system. Deficiency of the co enzyme Q10, in an individual, reduces the level of metabolism due to which the person might face several problems related to weight.

Take calcium and B vitamins during the diet.

But for the next phase, and while you are on maintenance, heed the advice above.

11. Try a chromium supplement

Chromium that has been shown to reduce fat accumulation, reduce cholesterol, reduce triglycerides, and reduce blood sugar levels in those people who have adequate blood insulin levels. Over 30 hospital and university studies have been performed showing all of the positive effects of Chromium. It helps the body store and burn carbohydrate in the proper way so that you have more energy and less fat buildup in the body.

12. Did you fat load properly?

Orac value of different foods allowed in the Beta HCG diet

Orac value of different foods allowed in the Beta HCG diet

ORAC Values are the most common standard of measuring the antioxidant capacity of fruits and vegetables. ORAC stands for Oxygen Radical Absorbency Capacity. This standard has been adopted by the US Department of Agriculture, and has come to be accepted as some kind of "official" standard.

ORAC values measure the time an antioxidant takes to react to free radicals, as well as the amount of antioxidants in the specific food. It combines these elements into one measurement.

Foods with a higher ORAC value, in general, have a greater antioxidant potential than those with low values. The foods that tend to rank the highest in ORAC values are fruits with bright pigmentation: berries, red grapes, cherries and apples are some examples.

Based on scientific evidence, daily antioxidant intake should increase to 3,000 to 5,000 ORAC units per day to reach a significant antioxidant capacity in blood plasma and other tissues. According to the U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), current intake is about 1,200 units per day.

One can still obtain the 3000-5000 ORAC recommended on this diet, if you include herbs in your seasoning, and combine your foods for maximum effect. One can also drink herbal tea.

Tea has a high ORAC score: USDA researchers, using a test tube measure called ORAC, found that an 8-ounce serving of black or green tea is more effective in neutralizing free radicals than individual servings of more than 33 commonly consumed fruits and vegetables.

Low carb options for Noodles

I am posting this blog because I had a discussion with a patient today about reducing her carb intake, and she needed some ideas on how to sneak low carb noodles past her family.

Glucomann (also called Miracle and shiritaki noodles)

These can also be used during the maintainence phase of the hcg diet.
One serving of Glucomannan noodles that contain 140 calories can be taken daily during the diet regime after the 500 calorie part of the diet.

* made of naturally water soluble fiber with no fat, sugar, or starch.
* contain zero net carbohydrates and zero calories, no gluten -made of a healthy natural fiber called Glucomannan.
* wheat & gluten free and kosher.
* Easily absorbs the flavors of any soup, dish, or sauce.
* are instant and come in a variety of styles
* have shown beneficial effects backed by medical studies for Type II Diabetes, Constipation, Obesity, and Cholesterol!

What are they made of: Glucomannan, a water-soluble polysaccharide that is considered a dietary fiber. Glucomannan is a food additive used as an emulsifier and thickener. Products containing glucomannan, marketed under a variety of brand names, are also sold as nutritional supplements for constipation, obesity, high cholesterol, acne vulgaris and type 2 diabetes. Though there is some clinical support for potential health benefits, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not approved any product containing glucomannan for the treatment of these medical conditions.

Miracle Noodles

Shirataki noodles absorb the flavor of whatever you add them to, so don't be shy with the sauce. These weight-loss noodles leave you feeling full and satisfied all-day long. Shirataki noodles contain little carbs or calories, and are rich with dietary fiber. They are low carb, and good for a healthy diet. Shirataki noodles are thinner than wheat noodles, do not break as easily, and have a different texture. They are mostly composed of a dietary fiber called glucomannan and contain very few calories and carbohydrates (sometimes even zero). Glucomannan is a water-soluble dietary fiber made from the roots of the Asian Konjac plant.

This is a great low carb alternative, but I do not recommend them until completely finished with all phases of the HCG diet.

Wheat and Whole grain pasta

Today's high-quality whole-wheat pastas, which run from tan to light brown in appearance, have the same toothsome texture as the best refined-wheat pastas and either mimic their flavor or veer off in entirely new and delicious directions, hitting nutty and earthy notes. Get the thinner varieties (angel hair instead of penne) if the texture is not "light" enough for you. Barilla Plus is the brand I think is most similar in look and feel to white-flour pasta. They added a grain and legume flour blend that includes lentils, chickpeas, egg whites, spelt, barley, flaxseed, oat fiber and oats. The egg whites and the legumes boost the protein, the barley and oats boost the soluble fiber, and the flaxseed provides some healthy plant omega-3s. Try different higher fiber pasta brands or products until you find the one you and your family enjoy most. You may eat a little less pasta than you normally would. The whole-wheat and higher- fiber pastas seem to be more filling, and you may find that you eat fewer calories.

Sugar free sweeteners on the Beta HCG diet

The human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) diet is a low calorie diet that relies on the administration of hCG for appetite suppression and quick fat burning. It was originally devised by Dr. A.T.W. Simeons in the 1950s, when he was researching the effects of hCG and noticed that patients taking the hormone tended to lose weight. Simeons began to research the use of hCG for weight loss and noticed that dieters could consume very few calories and, as long as they were taking daily doses of hCG, they didn’t experience headaches, extreme hunger, or physical weakness.

hCG is a hormone that is produced in pregnant women and helps support the body’s production of progesterone. The hormone is believed to cause a pregnant woman’s body to release stored fat to nourish the fetus if the woman doesn’t consume enough calories. Those following the hCG diet are given the hormone because some believe it helps bodies burn fat quicker.

The hCG diet plan allows the intake of only 500 calories per day. Originally, the diet plan allowed unsweetened tea or coffee with up to one tablespoon of milk for breakfast. Artificial sweeteners saccharin and stevia were allowed in place of sugar. Lunch and dinner each consisted of low-fat poultry, fish, or meat — with a pre-cooked weight of 100 grams — that was cooked without oil or butter; a vegetable; a breadstick or piece of Melba toast; and a serving of fruit. There were no snacks, unless the dieter wanted to eat the fruit, breadstick, or Melba toast for a snack instead of consuming it with the meal.

Nowadays, more sweeteners are available than just saccharin or stevia. I allow my patients to use any zero calorie sweetener they like, but if you find that your weight loss is not optimal, eliminate those all sweeteners altogether, or restrict yourself to the saccharin or stevia only.

Cheating on the HCG Diet

A person who follows the protocol to the letter should lose a pound a day, or the 34 pound limit during each month long session on the diet. It is always best to stick to the HCG Diet exactly, if you can. But if you must cheat, some items are more forgiving than others.

1) Try not to eat anything with sugar, starch, or fat. Sugar stimulates insulin and insulin turns it into fat. In "Pounds and Inches," Dr. Simeons cautions against eating sugar or starch during the three weeks just after doing the Hcg Diet. It's a big no-no during the diet, too. If you are wanting something extra to eat, you might be tempted when you are out socializing with your friends.

2) Try to schedule your diet when you will have a month where there are no major engagements involving food. Do not go on a cruise in the middle of the diet. The Beta HCG (per Dr. Simeons) redirects your hypothalamus to reset your weight set point. If you keep interrupting it, this may not happen.

3) If you must cheat, try to stay within the diet by eating the vegetables. Also, there are a few other foods you may not know about that are included at some Hcg Diet clinics. I have seen Zucchini, green beans, and watermelon included in other clinics.

4) If having time to make things is a problem, I have more hints: you may find some fat free, sugar free marinades, salad dressings and other items. I like a fat free, sugar free dressing called Maple Grove Farms Raspberry Vinaigrette, that I get at Wal-Mart.

5) If you travel for your job, carry food with you. Canned shrimp, canned asparagus, canned tomatoes, pickles in a jar, oranges, apples, and grapefruit can be packed. Your diet will become very monotonous, but stay on it.

6) It is really good if you keep a food diary of just what you eat and how you are feeling. It is one of the best things you can do, so you can check your progress. You want to be able to look back and figure out what you did right on those days that you lost more than a pound a day and when you only lost half a pound. Sometimes it is really hard to figure out.

7) You can make yourself an iced coffee with Stevia or flavored splenda. It's not quite like Starbucks, but you can try that. Also you may like to take your handful of strawberries and make a smoothie to drink. Just add water, ice and Stevia in your blender. You won't even be cheating! My book also has some sugar free drink and dessert recipes made from frozen teas that can give you the satisfaction of a meal without adding calories.

8) To stay on the diet, I suggest eating a sliced tomato or cucumber with salt and pepper between meals or a pickle. You can even broil the tomato in the oven or toaster oven with some spices. It is on the diet, and the few (fat free, sugar free) calories shouldn't completely stall your progress

9) One last thing. If you get tired of chicken or fish, have a scrambled egg or hard boiled egg. Dr Simeons mentions in his manuscript, "Pounds and Inches, " about eggs for those who are vegetarians. Just cook the scrambled egg in a little water in a non-stick pan. You can have it with spinach or tomato on top.

Acai Berry supplements can aid in weight loss, especially when paired with the Official HCG Diet Plan. It helps boost your metabolism, the engine that drives calorie burning. The ingredients within this Acai Berry Detox blend were selected specifically for use before, during, or even after the HCG diet.

The Acai Berry formula is also a smart choice because it contains polyphenols, antioxidant compounds that have the capacity to neutralize free radicals produced by regular exercise. And that's important when you are trying to get in shape.

Take the Acai Berry Cleanse with or without the HCG Diet Plan. Feel free to start taking at anytime before, during, or after the HCG Diet. While regular exercise is good for your figure and your health, it can generate free radicals in your body, which are damaging compounds that cause harmful oxidative stress. Acai has powerful antioxidant activity that can help your body stand up to these free radicals, with or without exercise.

There are also ingredients that aid in constipation in this formula.

Acai is one of the most nutritious and powerful foods. Further, Acai has a high ORAC value (oxygen-radical absorbance capacity). ORAC is the new measurement of antioxidant potential.

Taking a bath on the HCG diet

One should be cautious about which specific beauty products are used while on the HCG diet. Oils, fats, ointments, and creams can actually hamper efforts to lose unwanted body fat.

Exfoliating the body during a detox diet is a beneficial thing. The body is trying hard to eliminate all the toxins and pollutants contained in the fat that the diet unlocks, and removing dead skin so the pores are free to eliminate at an increased rate.

The fats in the beauty products have negative affects on weight loss during the HCG diet. The absorption of the oils and fats in beauty products is considered the equivalent to eating fatty foods. Oil absorbed through the skin can sabotage your weight loss efforts while on the HCG diet. The goal is to minimize or eliminate exposure by mouth or skin. This just goes to show that the HCG process needs to be executed with extreme precision. The fact that your body reacts so sensitively to beauty products means it is critical that specific lotions, cleansers, and cosmetics be eliminated.

People often ask me regarding products one can use for the Beta HCG diet, here I have included face and body exfoliation products:

Diuretic Teas for the Beta HCG diet or as a natural remedy for swelling

Teas can be an important source of nutrients as well as an important detox aid.
diuretic tea weight loss
Teas that promote diuretic release include Cornsilk Tea, Green tea, Dandelion Tea, Fennel Tea and Parsley tea

Parsley Tea in particular is a very powerful natural diuretic. It contains vitamins A and C and has more beta-carotene than a large carrot. A cup of minced parsley has more vitamin C then eating 2 oranges. And a cup of minced parsley has more calcium than a cup of milk and 20 x as much iron as liver. Parsley is also a natural breath freshener thanks to chlorophyll contain in Parsley.

Elotin tea is a natural product to help control insulin. When you have better control of your insulin levels you can better control hunger, cravings.

6 Meatless Beta HCG diet recipes

In countries where cottage cheese made from skimmed milk is available 100 grams may occasionally be used instead of the meat, but no other cheeses are allowed.

Cottage cheese is often eaten straight where it is like the curds of the nursery rhyme food "curds and whey".

100 grams of cottage cheese contains 72 calories.

Some people following the diet may want to substitute this for various reasons:
1. Convenience... does not need to be cooked
2. You are tired of eating meat
3. You need food high in Calcium

Tomatoes and cottage cheese

This makes a great side dish or snack.

Cherry tomatoes or 1 tomato, cut into quarters
1 Cup cottage cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

In a bowl, add cottage cheese and tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Serve.

Radishes and cottage cheese

Trim the ends off of the radishes and peel a band of radish-skin from around the middle of the radish. Steam the radishes in a covered microwave safe container for 8 minutes, or until fork tender. Add to a bowl of 100 g of cottage cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Can also use paprika, garlic powder, onion powder to taste.

Strawberry Cottage Cheese

100 grams low fat or part-skim small curd cottage cheese
1/2 cup sliced strawberries
1-2 packets Splenda

Blend well. Use a blender, or mix with spoon. Serve immediately or soon after making.

Cottage Cheese with Baked Apple

1 medium apple(s)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
1 dash(es) nutmeg, ground
100 grams cottage cheese, low-fat, no-salt-added

Preparation

1. Remove the seeds from the center of the apple with a paring knife. Cut through the skin, all the way around the apple, about an inch from the bottom. (This prevents the skin from shrinking) Place the apple in microwave safe dish

2.Inside core of apple, dust with cinnamon and nutmeg.

3. Microwave on high for 3-5 minutes, until apple is thoroughly cooked.

4. Spoon cottage cheese into the center to complete filling the opening. Enjoy.

Broiled Cinnamon Grapefruit and Cottage Cheese

1/2 grapefruit topped with cinnamon and broiled for 3 minutes
100 grams cottage cheese

If you put the cottage cheese on top while it is warm, you will get a melted, cheesy effect.

Applesauce and cottage cheese with Cinnamon

1 serving cottage cheese
enough applesauce to cover (1 cup of applesause is 100 calories, about 1 medium apple)
cinnamon to taste

Preparation:

Simply put a serving of cottage cheese in a small bowl and smooth it out evenly. Cover with a cup of applesauce. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

You can also eat apple chips with cottage cheese. Look carefully at the serving size and limit how many you eat to 80-100 calories, approx the same as a medium apple.

HCG diet-general concepts

HCG Diets are weight loss programs that help you lose weight with the use of HCG and a very low calorie diet. Dr. Simeons originally used the diet with his patients. His diet and his work are discussed in his manuscript “Pounds and Inches” which was researched over 40 years ago.

Today, we continue the diet to help people detox and recover their organs. The concept of the program is based on the power of HCG to change a person’s metabolism which can happen when the organs get a "break". HCG is the same hormone that is secreted during pregnancy and when present in the body, it affects many metabolic functions. Combined with a special 500 calorie a day diet, HCG can reportedly force your body to utilize the stored fat in your body, thus losing weight rather rapidly.

Beta HCG Ultimate

Our Beta HCG Cream includes not only the Beta HCG recommended in the protocol, but also other supportive ingredients that aid in targeting abdominal fat removal and support other organs during this time of rapid weight loss.

Arginine triggers the body to make protein and has been studied for wound healing, bodybuilding, enhancement of sperm production (spermatogenesis), and prevention of wasting in people with critical illnesses. It is a popular ingredient in many body-building products. In one study, arginine enhanced the function of muscle – helping muscles use calories more efficiently so that they did not end up as stored fat. This was accompanied by lower leptin and triglyceride levels, meaning that arginine is another tool that can support healthy leptin balance. Foods high in arginine include peanuts, sesame and sunflower seeds, crustacean seafoods, tuna, turkey, chicken, and spinach.

DHEA and Weight Loss

Testosterone and estrogen are not the only hormones implicated in weight gain. Low levels of DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone), a steroid hormone, have also been linked to increased weight gain. Virtually everyone over age 35 experiences a significant reduction in DHEA. Studies suggest that supplementing with DHEA produces beneficial body composition changes (Villareal et al 2000; Villareal et al 2004). Another study showed that DHEA decreased abdominal obesity and improved insulin action. Studies also showed that DHEA was associated with significant decreases in visceral and subcutaneous fat and improved insulin sensitivity (Villareal et al 2004).

Adrenal insufficiency is a condition involving low levels of adrenal gland hormones. Several studies suggest DHEA supplements may improve well-being, quality of life, and sex drive in people with adrenal insufficiency.

Of note, many of the patients on my protocol have noticed an improvement in libido during the use of this product.

This statement has not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease

Shrimp, Broth, and Jasmine Tea

If you like flowers, you will love the delicate, floral taste of jasmine tea.

Jasmine tea is a type of scented tea. To make scented tea, tea leaves are mixed with flowers until their perfume has been absorbed. The tea is then baked gently in an oven.
You can scent any kind of tea with jasmine: green, white, oolong or even black. However, the sweet, floral perfume of jasmine flowers tastes best with green tea.
Want to slow down the effects of aging and stay young? The antioxidants in jasmine tea can help protect your body against damage from free radicals.

Free radicals are oxidized molecules that have unpaired electrons. As they circulate through your body, they steal electrons from other molecules to replace the ones they are missing. This process can damage your body's cells. It is associated with the aging process.

Drinking jasmine green tea can help prevent damage from free radicals.

Drinking green tea can help you lose weight. This benefit has been attributed to green tea's synergistic combination of caffeine and antioxidants, especially EGCG.

A high quality jasmine contains the same blend of antioxidants and caffeine as high quality green tea.

It is especially good for dieters because of its naturally sweet taste. Even people who would normally add sugar or honey to their tea often find that they enjoy jasmine tea without it.
Jasmine tea may help you lose fat by helping your body absorb less fat and cholesterol.

Very Low Calorie diet/Beta HCG Diet

The Beta Hcg Detox Diet

The hCG Weight Reduction Program is a medical approach to reducing excessive storage fat and weight gain built around a low calorie diet coupled with small dose of a hormone called hCG, that helps stimulate fat metabolism. The relationship between hCG and weight loss was discovered by Dr. A.T.W. Simeons in the 1960's. Tens of thousands of people reportedly used his treatment and achieved rapid weight loss. Unlike nearly every other weight reduction program available today, Simeons' patients reportedly did not gain the weight back. In addition to loss of unwanted fat, the true benefit of the hCG protocol is its ability to help modify the dieter's relationship with food and eating, resulting in easily maintained, long-term weight loss.

hCG / FDA DISCLAIMER The Role of the FDA: The FDA’s role is to set-up tests and recommend safety of drug related products on the market. As an agency they are not in the medical business. As long as a drug is safe to use then it is up to the discretion of the medical doctor to prescribe it for various situations that they are “trained to understand and know the application for”. A medical doctor has the right by law to do as they see fit to handle a patient under their care and to handle the problems the patient is experiencing. hCG has been used to treat many various health issues and has been and has been in existence to do so for over 50 years by the medical community. However, the FDA has not approved hCG Therapy to lose weight. In regards to hCG this is the FDA’s Statement: INDICATIONS AND USAGE: hCG has not been demonstrated to be effective adjunctive therapy in the treatment of obesity. There is no substantial evidence that it increases weight loss beyond that resulting from caloric restriction, that it causes a more attractive or “normal” distribution of fat or that it decreases the hunger and discomfort associated with calorie-restricted diets.
